Laube GCX combines ceramic and titanium carbo nitrate plating with cryogenix for the coolest, sharpest, smoothest cutting blade in the world. Laube has combined the best of both worlds! Laube starts with titanium carbo nitrate plating on already super hard, super dense cyrogenic treated blade and then combining that technology with a ceramic-cutting blade, the hardest substance (with the exception of diamonds) known to man.

These combined technologies add up to a super blade that will save you time and a lot of money overall. GCX blades will glide effortlessly through any coat. Titanium carbo nitrate plating (the gold color) is a super tough surface that is commonly used in precision machining of super tough metels. The plating will not rust or wear off.
